Strictly necessary

Cookies and local-storage entries needed for auth sessions and CSRF protection. These are always on and cannot be disabled — without them the app cannot function.

Analytics (optional)

We use PostHog to understand how teams use Prod Buddy so we can improve it. When enabled, PostHog sets cookies prefixed with ph_ and stores a device identifier in local storage. This is off by default and can be toggled below.

Session replay (optional)

Sentry session replay records anonymized sessions when an error occurs, to help us reproduce and fix bugs faster. Replays mask all text and inputs and block media. This is off by default, nested under Analytics, and can only be enabled when Analytics is on.

Reliability telemetry

We always capture unhandled exceptions in the Prod Buddy app itself (without session replay) so we can keep the service reliable. Captured events are scrubbed of customer error payloads before being sent to Sentry.
